AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 1.7.04 OF THE BREMERTON
BUILDING AND FIRE SAFETY (]ODE ~ ADOPTING THE 1991
WASHINGTON STATE ENERGY CODE AND THE WASHINGTON STATE
VENTILATION AND INDOOR AIR QOALiTY CODE AND REPEALING THE
I~ORTHWES'? ENERGY CODE,
WHEREAS, the Washington State Building Code Council has
recent li written the 1991 Washington State Energy Code and
Wash~l.~Lgton State Ventilation and Indoor Air Quality Code, and these
codes have advantages over the Northwest Energy Code currently in

WHEREAS, RCW i_9.27 r equi res the City o~ Bremerton to

WHEREAS, adding the 1991 Washington State Energy Code and
Washing%on State Ventilation and Indoor Air Quality Code to the
Bremer~on Building and F.]re Safety Code is desirable:
THE CITY OF BREMERTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN:
SECTION 1~ BMC Section i7.04.050(ii~ ~s amended to read as follows:
