AN ORDINANCE of the City of Bremerton approving and adopting the financial budget
for the several funds of the City of Bremerton for the fiscal year 1996, and appropriating
the amounts set forth in each budget to each fund in accordance with RCW 35.33.075;
and repealing Ordinance No.'s 4515, 4400, 4356, 4231, 4160 and BMC 2.50.020 (c)
THE CITY OF BREMERTON DOES ORDAIN:
SECTION 1: That the financial budget for the City of Bremerton, to wit: "Official
Budget for the year 1996, City of Bremerton", now on file in the office of the City Clerk of the
City of Bremerton, be and the same is hereby approved and adopted, and the respective amounts
provided for in said budget for the several funds of the City of Bremerton, be and the same are
hereby fixed and adopted as follows:

GRAND TOTAL ESTIMATED REVENUES AND EXPENDITURES: $68,547,719
Of the total revenue, the sum of $4,703,968 is the estimated amount to be received from a
$3.8020 levy per $1,000 of assessed valuation of all property within the city limits of the City of
Bremerton as set forth in Ordinance No. 4532.
SECTION 2: That the separate totals set forth in Section 1, hereof for each of said funds,
as particularly itemized in the "O~¢ial Budget for the year 1996, City of Bremerton on file in the
off, ce of the City Clerk of the City of Bremerton, be and the same are hereby appropriated to each
of said departments for the fiscal year 1996.
SE(~TION 3: Nothing contained herein shall be construed to require the City of
Bremerton or its off|cers to fall any vacancy in any of the positions established by this ordinance
resulting from the discharge, resignation or retirement of such employee. Nothing herein
contained shall require the City of Bremerton or its o~cers to pay the maximum amount budgeted
for any position shown therein.
SECTION 4: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect immediately following
passage and publication as provided by law.
SE(~TION 5: Ordinance No.'s 4515, 4400, 4356, 4231, 4160 and BMC 2.50.020 (¢) are
hereby repealed.
APPROVED by the City Council on the first reading on this ~ day of
December, 1995.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Bremerton, signed by the Mayor and attested
by the City Clerk in authemication of such passage this ~ day of December, 1995.
