AN ORDINANCE annexing an area known as the Sciepko/Lunde Area and fixing the effective
date of annexation.
WHEREAS, the City of Bremerton, Washington received t¥om the propet~ owners of a
75 56 acre area, lying southeast of Guts! and west of the Anderson Creek property a Letter of
Intent and a Petition requesting annexation as required in RCW 35. ~ 3. ! 25; and
WHEREAS, the City Council approved the 10% Petition for the Sciepko/Lunde Area on
February 8, 1995, and required the area to assume a proportionate share of existing City
indebtedness and to accept the administrative provisional assignment of zoning; and
%qIEREAS, the Breme~on City Council conducted a public hearing on February 15,
lq95, {bllowing property posting and publication o£the hearing as required by law, to accept
public comments on the annexation petition and accept said;
NOW THEREFORE:
Section 1. The territory described and farther depicted ~n Exhibit "A' and
attached hereto and incorporated by reference herein shall be and constitute a part
of the City of Bremerton
Section 2. In conformance with the terms of the Annexation Petition al~ property
within the territory annexed hereby shall be subject to all the city's laws and ordinances
including the assessment or taxes in payment of any bonds issued or debts contracted
prior to or existing at the date of annexation.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect ten days following passage and
publication. The City Clerk shall certi$' this annexation ordinance with the Kitsap
County Commissioners following final approval of the Kitsap County Boundary Review

Board. If said annexation is not approved by the Kitsap County Boundary Review Board, this
Ordinance shall become null and void on date of said final decision.

feet, more or less, to the centerline of a creek and the true point
of beginning; thence continue east 400 feet; thence south parallel
with the west line of said SW1/4 of the SW1/4, a distance of 544.5
feet; thence west parallel with the north line of said SW1/4 of the
SW1/4, a distance of 400 feet, more or less, to the centerline of
the creek: thence northerly along the centerline gf said creek to
the true point of beginning.

Beginning at the SE corner of Govt. Lot 2 of said Section 32;
thence N$8'17'22"W 330.01 ft; thence Nl'56'36"E 401.06 ft more or
less to the southerly margin of State Highway; thence easterly
along said southerly margin to its intersection with the east line
of Said Govt. Lot 2. said point bearing Nl'50'16"E of the point of
beginning; thence Sl'50'16"W along said east line of Govt. Lot 2 to
the point of beginning.
