Bremerton for the West Monroe Street Annexation area located north
of Werner Road, west of Kean Street and south of Monroe Street.
WHEREAS, The City of Bremerton recently annexed 4.77 acres in
the vicinity north of Werner Road, west of Kean Street and South of
Monroe street; and
WHEREAS, At the time of annexation, a default zoning
designation of Single Family-Three was applied as this designation
most closely corresponded with the residential zoning designated by
the County; and
WHEREAS, At the October 4, 1994 Planning Commission hearing,
the Commission recommended that the General Industry (IG) Zoning be
applied to this area upon annexation to achieve consistency with
the Comprehensive Plan; and
WHEREAS, the Bremerton City Council, following its public
hearing on December 21, 1994, adopted the Planning Commission's
Findings of Fact and Conclusions of Law which is attached hereto
and incorporated herein, and has decided to change the zoning for
the West Monroe Street annexation area from "Single Family-Three"
to "General Industry": now therefore
THE CITY OF BREMERTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN
Section 1. The Official Zoning Map of the City of Bremerton
is hereby amended to rezone the 4.77 acre annexation area that is
currently within the City limits, from "Single Family-Three" (SF-3)
to "General Industry" (IG), described as follows:

Ail of block 1, of Leibly & Blumer's 1st addition to
Bremerton Heights, except that portion of right of way
for Werner Road, (Formerly Beloit St.)
