2.49.0~0 QUALIFICATIONS A~ FUNCTIONS.
(a) Position desc~ptions sh~l be es~blish~ by ~e ~ersonnel Dep~ment for ~ch
CONFIRM.IRS - Disk 2 - 5/17/94 1
nonunion management employee. These position descriptions shall include:
(1) An outline of the employee's job showing his or her designated
responsibilities and limits of authority.
(2) The special skills, knowledge, education and/or experience the manager
shall possess as a prerequisite to being considered for the position.
Co) Prior to the hiring of any nonunion management employee, the position
description set forth in subsection (a) of this section shall have been reviewed by the
Pcrscnncl D:.rcctcr Human Resources Manager and the City Council, and approval
acknowledged with the signature of the Council President. However, this section shall
become null and void and have no effect if and when an organizational ordinance for the
City is approved by the Mayor and City Council.
Section 2. Effective Date. This ordinance shall become effective ten (10) days from
passage and publication.
