the Rocky Point Water District within the Kitsap-Corbet
annexation area.
THE CITY OF BREMERTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN:
Section 1. Pursuant to RCW 35.13A.040 and .050, the City of
Bremerton hereby assumes all jurisdiction, and all facilities,
property or equipment, if any, of the Rocky Point Water District
located within the Kitsap-Corbet annexation area depicted on
Exhibit A, attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference.
Section 2. Any existing facilities located within the area
hereby assumed from the District which served the territory which
remains under the jurisdiction of the Rocky Point Water District
shall be maintained to continue serving the water requirements of
the water district for the economically useful life of said
facilities, with a District charged a reasonable rate.
Section 3. The Clerk shall transmit a certified copy of this
ordinance to the Kitsap County Assessor's office.
Section 4. Effective Date. This ordinance shall become
effective ten (10) days from passage and publication.
