AN ORDINANCE setting the Municipal Court Judge's salary and benefits,
the judge pro tempore salary, repealing Ordinance No. 4438 and amending
Section 2.62.040 of the Bremerton Municipal Code.
THE CITY OF BREMERTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN:
Section 1. New Section. A new section shall be added to the Bremerton Municipal
Code to read as follows:
2.62.035 MUNICIPAL JUDGE -SALARY AND BENEFITS.
(a) The judge of the Bremerton Municipal Court shall receive in 1995 an annual
salary of Sixty-seven Thousand Two Hundred Thirty-five Dollars ($67,235.00). For each
year thereafter, the salary shall be adjusted to reflect the cost of living increase as provided
to management and professional employees of the City.
Co) The judge of the Bremerton Municipal Court shall receive benefits provided in
accordance with the Management and Professional Staff Compensation Program as set forth
in Bremerton Municipal Code 2.50.040 through .080; Provided, however, the beginning
vacation leave under BMC 2.50.040(c) shall be 20 days.
Section 2. Amendment. Section 2.62.040 of the Bremerton Municipal Code is
amended to read as follows:
2.62.040 JUDGES PRO TEMPORE - SALARY. A judge pro tempore of Bremerton
Municipal Court shall receive a salary cnc

which the judge pro tern serves at a rate equivalent to the hourly salary, of the Bremerton
Municipal Court Judge.
Section 3. Repeal. Ordinance No. 4438 is hereby repealed in its entirety.
