AN ORDINANCE amending Chapter 2.04 of the Bremerton Municipal Code.
THE CITY OF BREMERTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN:
Section 1. Amendment. Section 2.04.010 of the Bremerton Municipal Code
shall be amended to read as follows.
2.04.10 TIME AND PLACE.
The time and place of the regular meeting of the City Council required by Charter
shall be each Wednesday at five-thirty p.m. at the Council Chambers, City Hall,
Bremerton, Washington, Provided, however, If such meeting day falls upon a legal
holiday, upon the same day that either a primary or general election is held, or as
approved by the majority of the Council, then such regular meeting shall be rescheduled
during the same week following procedures for setting a special meeting.
A regularly scheduled City Council meeting shall consist of the following items:
1. Call to Order (Flag Salute and Invocation)
2. Consent Agenda
3. ClaimsNouchers/Warrants
4. Council Members Reports
5. Mayor's Report
6. Legislative Report
7. Public Recognition
8. Final Reading of Ordinances and vote thereon
9. Introduction and First Reading of Ordinances
10. Reading and vote upon Resolutions
11. Public Hearings and Appeal.
Items 8 through 11 may be omitted if there are no scheduled items for that section.
Section 2. Effective Date. This ordinance shall take effect ten (10) days from
passage and publication.
