AN ORDINANCE to prohibit the addition of fluoride in any
chemical form to the water system of the City of Bremerton and
amending Chapter 15.02 of the Bremerton Municipal Code.
Section 1. New Section. Section 15.02.145 is hereby added as follows:
15.02.145 PROHIBITING FLUORIDATION.
The water supply of the City of Bremerton shall not be artificially fluoridated; i.e.,
that fluoride in any chemical form shall not be added, now or in the future, unless so ordained by a
majority of the voters in an open election.
Section 2. Effective Date. This ordinance shall become effective ten (I0) days at~er the official
certification of the February 2, 1999 special election, pursuant to state law.
