Home My WebLink About4573 ORDINANCE NO. q;~ ff AN ORDINANCE reorganizing the Disability Action Committee which will assist the City of Bremerton's implementation of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990. THE CITY OF BREMERTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN: Section 1. Amendment. Chapter 2.88.020 of the Bremerton Municipal Code is amended to read as follows: 2.88.020 MEMBERSHIP AND TERMS OF OFFICE. At least two members shall be persons with a disability. Members may reside outside the City if solicitation procedures fail to generate a qualified candidate who resides in the City. Section 2. Amendment. Chapter 2.88.070 of the Bremerton Municipal Code is amended to read as follows: 2.88.070 MEETINGS. The Committee shall establish a regular meeting day and time and shall meet at least once every mont~ quarter. All meetings of the Committee shall be held in accordance of the city and state law regarding public meetings. Section 3. Effective Date.
