AN ORDINANCE establishing a conditional rebate for utility services provided to
individuals outside the City limits upon annexation into the City of Bremerton within a
prescribed period of time and amending "Front Footage Fees" for those properties not
included in Utility Local Improvement District (ULID)//327; and amending Ordinance
No. 4529.
THE CITY OF BREMERTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN:
Section 1. Amendment. Ordinance Nos. 4529 Section 1, II(a) is hereby amended to read
as follows:
PURPOSE. The ordinance codified in this section establishes assessments, rates and
charges for municipal waste, wastewater and stormwater services.
II. WASTEWATER
(a) ASSESSMENTS:
(1) General Facility Fee.
(a) Within City limits $150.00/ERU
(b) Outside City limits $225.00/ERU
(2) Front Footage Fee.
(a) Within City limits $8.00 per foot
(b) Outside City limits $12.00 per foot
(c) Properties not included in ULID $64.30 per foot

Section 2. New Section. A new subsection V is added to Section 1 of Ordinance No.
4529 to read as follows:
V. REBATE. Properties within Kitsap County provided with water, wfistewater or
stormwater services by the City of Bremerton are required to pay an additional fee. In the interest
of fairness and to recognize potential annexation of these sites into the City, a rebate of the
surcharge portion of the front footage and facilities fees would be made to any owner(s) whose
property becomes annexed into the City of Bremerton within twelve (12) months from the date
of payment of such fees.
Section 3. Effective Date. This ordinance shall become effective ten (10) days from
passage and publication.
