AN ORDINANCE amending the Official Comprehensive Plan
and Zoning maps of the City of Bremerton for property located west
of the city limits along Tracyton Beach Road.
WHEREAS, a Letter of Intent to annex was submitted to the City Council
on December 6, 1995; and
WHEREAS, during that meeting the City Council determined that said
area should be subject to Pre-Annexation land use designation; and
WHEREAS the Bremerton Planning Commission conducted a public
heating on January 16, 1996 to accept public comments and to consider
zoning designations, following which a recommendation that the land be
designated low-density residential (LDR) on the Bremerton
Comprehensive Plan and that the zoning should be SF-2, which allows
4DU/acre; and
WHEREAS, on February 7, 1996 the Bremerton City Council conducted a
public hearing and accepted additional comments and considered the
recommendation of the Planning Commission; now therefore
THE CITY OF BREMERTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN
Section 1. The Bremerton City Council adopts the Findings of Fact and
Conclusions of the Bremerton Planning Commission, on the above
application approved at its January 16, 1996 meeting.
Section 2. The Official Comprehensive Plan Map of the City of
Bremerton is hereby amended to designated the Tracyton Beach
Annexation area (described in Exhibit "C" attached hereto and
incorporated herein), as "Low Density Residential (LDR)"; as shown on
Exhibit "A".The Official Zoning Map of the City of Bremerton is hereby
amended for the subject property to Single Family 2 (SF-2)" as shown on
Exhibit "B".
