AN ORDINANCE amending Ordinance 4332 setting forth
legislative and administrative comrols on the budget of the City of
Bremerton.
The City of Bremerton does ordain:
Section 1. Amendment. Ordinance No. 4332 is hereby amended as follows:
SECTION 1: BUDGET STRUCTURE - The adopted armtrat budget of the City of
Bremerton shall consist of various Funds and Departments within those Funds as provided in the
chart of accounts pursuant to statute. Each Department shall contain ~ ~.~} distinct
Category Groups, which shall be classified
as~::~i~::~ Personnel, ~i Supplies, Services and Taxes,
Debt Servi~ and ~ii Capital Expendituresiii~i!ii~iiiii~~.
SECTION 2: GENERAL BUDGET POLICY - Except as specifically authorized in
subsequent sections of this Ordinance, no administrator or legislator shall expend or authorize
expenditure of monies that would cause orn'esttl~ the over expenditure of any budget Category
Group. Further, no administrator or legislator shall employ or authorize the employment ora
person into a permanent position not specifically authorized in the adopted budget.

SECTION 6: ORDINANCE IMPLEMENTATION - Policies and procedures to insure
the implementation and maintenance of the policies set forth in this Ordinance shall be prepared by
