AN ORDINANCE VACATING THE NORTH 213.01 FEET OF 12 FOOT WIDE
UNDEVELOPED ALLEY LOCATED SOUTH OF 1 ST AVENUE BETWEEN YANTIC
AVENUE AND HARTFORD AVENUE
WHEREAS, the owner of the property abutting both sides of the 12 foot wide requested
portion of the undeveloped alley initiated proceedings for vacation of said alley.
WHEREAS, notice has been posted and published according to law; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the portion of the right-of-way set forth herein is
not needed for present or future use and should be vacated to allow the abutting property owner
to maintain the parcel, now therefore
THE CITY OF BREMERTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN:
Section 1. Vacation. The following alley is hereby vacated to the adjoining property
owner.
Section 22, Township 24 N., Range 1 E. W.M. That portion of the plat of Charleston
Navy View Addition #3736, recorded in volume 4, page 81, records of Kitsap County,
Washington described as follows:
That portion of the Alley being 12 feet wide, lying within block 3 of said plat of Charleston Navy
View Addition, lying between lots 1-7 and 46-52.
Section 2. Effective Date. This vacation shall become effective ten (10) days from
passage and publication.
