ORDINANCE NO. 4621
AN ORDINANCE vacating those portions of D, E, F, G, and
H Streets west of SR3 and east of Oyster Bay Ave., and
Bayview Ave. Between C Street and E Street.
WHEREAS, the City Council passed Resolution No. 2636
initiating vacation pursuant to RCW 35~79.010 and setting a
hearing date for said vacation; and
WHEREAS, the City is the owner of all property abutting
rights-of-way proposed for vacation herein; and
WHEREAS, a hearing was duly noticed to abutting property
owners and posted according to RCW 35.79.020 and written protests
from fifty percent or more of abutting owners have not been filed
with the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council, following a public hearing held
December 30, 1997, finds that portions of D, E, F, G, and H
Streets west of SR3 and east of Oyster Bay Ave., and Bayview Ave.
between C Street and E Street are not needed for present or
future traffic circulation; now, therefore,
THE CITY OF BREMERTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN:

Section 1. Vacation. The following rights-of-way should be
and are hereby vacated:
SEE ATTACHED EXHIBIT "A"
Section 2. Reservation of Easements. Easements are
reserved for all public utilities which have been established
within the rights-of-way subject to this vacation ordinance.
Section 3. Effective Date. This ordinance shall become
effective ten (10) days from passage and publication.
APPROVED by the City Council of the City of Bremerton this
30 day of December, 1997.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Bremerton this
