AN ORDINANCE Vacating the southerly 1,000 feet of
Forrest Street between 1st Street (vacated) and Kitsap Way.
WHEREAS, the City of Bremerton initiated the vacation process of the right-of-
way; and
WHEREAS, notice has been posted and published according to law; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the portion of the right-of-way set forth
herein is not needed for present or future use and should be vacated to allow the
abutting property owners to maintain the parcel, now therefore,
THE CITY OF BREMERTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN:
Section 1. Vacation. The following rights-of-way are hereby vacated to the
adjoining property owners.
A PORTION OF THE PLAT OF GOODFELLOW'S NAVY YARD TRACTS, AS
RECORDED IN VOLUME 3 OF PLATS, PAGE 52, RECORDS OF KITSAP COUNTY,
WASHING, SITUATE IN THE SOUTHWEST QUARTER OF THE SOUTHWEST

QUARTER OF SECTION 15, TOWNSHIP 24 NORTH, RANGE 1 EAST, W.M., KITSAP
COUNTY, WASHINGTON, MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS:
THAT PORTION OF FORREST STREET FRONTING LOTS 25 THROUGH 34,
INCLUSIVE, IN BLOCK 1 OF SAID PLAT.
Section 2. Reservation of Easements. An easement is reserved for Puget
Sound Energy for operation, maintenance and repair of power lines over, under and
upon the following described real property:
THE NORTHERLY 100 FEET OF THE BELOW DESCRIBED VACATION:
A PORTION OF THE PLAT OF GOODFELLOW'S NAVY YARD TRACTS, AS
RECORDED IN VOLUME 3 OF PLATS, PAGE 52, RECORDS OF KITSAP COUNTY,
WASHINGTON, SITUATE iN THE SOUTHWEST OUARTER OF THE SOUTHWEST
QUARTER OF SECTION 15, TOWNSHIP 24 NORTH, RANGE 1 EAST, W.M., KITSAP
COUNTY, WASHINGTON, MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS:
THAT PORTION OF FORREST STREET FRONTING LOTS 25 THROUGH 34,
INCLUSIVE, IN BLOCK 1 OF SAID PLAT.
Section 3. Effective date. This vacation shall become effective ten (10) days
from passage and publication.

I, Peggy Szumiesz, being first duly sworn on oath, deposes and says: That she is now, and at all times
embraced in the publication herein mentioned was the principal clerk of the printers and publishers of
THE SUN; that said newspaper has been approved as a legal newspaper by order of the Superior Court of
the County of Kitsap, in which County it is published and is now and has been for more than six months
prior to the date of the publication hereinafter referred to, published in the English language continually
as a daily newspaper in Bremerton, Kitsap County, Washington, and is now and during all of said time,
was printed in an office maintained in the aforesaid place of publication of said newspaper; that the
