AN ORDINANCE reaffirming and reenacting Ordinance No. 4685 establishing rates for
inappropriate Stormwater inflow to the Wastewater System by amending Chapter 15.06
of the Bremerton Municipal Code and Ordinance No. 4675
THE CITY OF BREMERTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN:
SECTION 1. Reaffirm and Reenact Ordinance No. 4685 in its entirety as PASSED by
the City Council of the City of Bremerton on the 15th day of December, 1999, and effective the
28th day of December, 1999. Ordinance No. 4685 is attached hereto and incorporated herein by
this reference as if fully set forth.
SECTION 2. Alternative Reaffirmation and Reenactment. In the event that Section
1 of this Ordinance is invalidated by a Court of competent jurisdiction, Ordinance No. 4685 is
reaffirmed and reenacted in its entirety except that the effective date of Ordinance No. 4685
shall be the 1st day of January, 2000.
SECTION 3. Effective Date. This ordinance shall take effect ten (10) days from
passage and publi'cation.

AN ORDINANCE establishing rates for Inappropriate Stormwater Inflow to
the Wastewater System by amending Chapter 15.06 of the Bremerton
Municipal Code and Ordinance Number 4675.
Whereas, Bremerton Municipal Code, Chapter 15.06.050, requires that a schedule
be adopted by the City Council for rates associated with Improper Stormwater Inflow.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BREMERTON DOES
HEREBY ORDAIN:
Section 1. Amendment.
PURPOSE. This ordinance establishes rates for Improper Stormwater Inflow.
Chapter 15.06, Appendix A is hereby amended to read as follows:

IMPROPER STORMWATER INFLOW RATES. The following rates are
established for Improper Stormwater Inflow, based upon the stormwater ISU for
each lot and adjusted annually on the following schedule:
EFFECTIVE DATE RATE
February 1, 2002 25% Stormwater Fee for Property
February 1, 2003 50% Stormwater Fee for Property
February 1, 2004 75% Stormwater Fee for Property
February 1, 2005 100% Stormwater Fee for Property
After February 1, 2005, the Improper Stormwater Inflow Rate will remain at 100%
of the Stormwater Fee for a property unless otherwise modified by the City
Council. The fees shall be deposited in the Wastewater Fund (No. 451).
Section 2. Effective Date. This ordinance shall become effective ten days after
passage and publication.
