AN ORDINANCE reaffirming and reenacting Ordinance No. 4678 establishing cost
recovery of subsidized costs from non-city residents utilizing specified city services and
amending Chapter 3.01 of the Bremerton Municipal Code.
THE CITY OF BREMERTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN:
SECTION 1. Reaffirm and Reenact Ordinance No. 4678 in its entirety as PASSED by
the City Council of the City of Bremerton on the 17th day of November, 1999, and effective the
11th day of December, 1999. Ordinance No. 4678 is attached hereto and incorporated herein
by this reference as if fully set forth.
SECTION 2. Alternative Reaffirmation and Reenactment. In the event that Section
1 of this Ordinance is invalidated by a Court of competent jurisdiction, Ordinance No. 4678 is
reaffirmed and reenacted in its entirety except that the effective date of Ordinance No. 4678
shall be the 1st day of January, 2000.
SECTION 3. Effective Date. This ordinance shall take effect ten (10) days from
passage and publication.

ORDINANCE NO. 4678
AN ORDINANCE establishing cost recovery of subsidized costs
from non-city residents utilizing specified city services and
amending Chapter 3.01 of the Bremerton Municipal Code
WHEREAS, a large number of non-city residents utilize city services which are subsidized
in part by city taxpayers;
WHEREAS, the City of Bremerton encourages non-residents to participate in the many
programs and services offered by the city at the full cost of those services; now, therefore,
THE CITY OF BREMERTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN:
Section 1. Amendment. Chapter 3.01 of the Bremerton Municipal Code is hereby
amended to read as follows:
3.01.100 NON RESIDENTIAL USE OF CITY SERVICES.
Non-city residents shall pay the rates shown on Attachment A multiplied by 20%
with the exception of daily admission fees and merchandise for sale.
Section 2. Effective Date. This ordinance shall take effect ten (10) days from passage
and publication.

The fee for setting markers into four inch collar and installation shall be charged as follows
unless purchased through the City of Bremerton or Ivy Green Cemetery. The pdce does not
include tax.
