Bloomington Avenue and Olympic Avenue to vehicular traffic.
WHEREAS, the City may limit utilization of any right-of-way provided there are
alternate routes for vehicular movement without undue inconvenience and the public
interest and safety are served, and;
WHEREAS, the City has an ongoing project to improve the Anderson Cove area,
of which a portion of that plan is to close Anderson Street between Bloomington Avenue
and Olympic Avenue to vehicular traffic, and;
WHEREAS, this item was reviewed at the Traffic Safety Commission meeting of
February 17, 2000, and approved closure of the street to vehicular access while providing
for pedestrian access.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF BREMERTON DOES ORDAIN'
Section 1. That Anderson Street between Bloomington Avenue and Olympic
Avenue in the City of Bremerton is closed to vehicular traffic.
Section 2. Effective Date. This ordinance shall become effective ten days after
passage and publication.
