Contract from the P,S,~ ~nd Light Co was received and properly sign~d~and
sealed was ordered filed.
~pp~ication from ~ A V.Brown $o operate a Jitney line as follows,s~artin
a~ the corner of ~romt Street~and Pacific Avenue,thence North on Pacific Avenue to
Ninth Stree~ and re~urn to place of s~arting,then to ~ashington Avenue~then North
on ~ashington Avenue to Ninth Sereet and return ~o ~oint of starting rep~ting the
same course while on the line until further changes are m~de in his rou~e.
L~ 01dham msved and seconded by ~ Casad that a Jitney license be granted
to ~r ~ V.Brown to operate a Jitney over ~he aforesaid route.

an agreemen~ ~o sell and deliver all the gasoline requi~ed by the City Gover~aent
for th$ period of one year commencing January 12,192~ and ending January 1£,19£8,
at l~per gallondelivered without storage.
~/~ ~ Halverson moved and seconded by ~ Cased that the oontrac~ for gas be
awarded to the Olympic Calpe~ Refining Co as per their agreement and the ~yor and
clerk be instructed to sign same.
