Regular meeting of the City Commission of the City of Bremerton,~ash. held on Wednesday January 5th.1926,at 10.00 A,E with Mayor C E B,01dham presiding and Commissioners Halverson and Casad present at roll call. Minutes of the last regular and adjourned meetings of December 29,1926, were read and approved as read by the followwing vote,l~ 01dham ~es Mr Halverson Yes Er Casad Yes. Cohtract from the Standard 0il Company for 0il and Grease was submitted and after beiHg read ~ 01dham moved and seconded by ~ Halverson that the contract for oil and grease be awarded to the Standard 0il Company as per ~heir ~oposal of January 5th 1927. Motion carried as follows I~ Oldham Yes.~ Halvers~n Yes. Mr Casad Yes. Er James F.S~ickles representing the Calpet Refining Company submitted a letter supplemental ~o his contrac~ s~mitted,but the matter of awarding a contract was laid over un~il the next meeting. Annual report on the Cemetery was submitted by 1,,~ Fred R,Lewis and after being read was ordered placed on file. Er Halverson moved and seconded by Nr 01dham that all bills approved and allowed by a majority of the Commissioners the clerk be instructed to issue warrants for same, ~otion carried as follows ~ 01dham Yes,~ Halverson Yes. ~ Casad ~es. Communication ~eceived from the P.S.P and Light Co more clearly defining the third section of their contract was read after which I,~ Casad moved and seconded by I,~ Halverson that the resolution as read relative to accepting the contract submitted by the P.S.P and Light Co be approved and passed and the Eayor and Clerk be instructed to sign the same. Motion carried as follows 1~ 01dham Yes,Mr Halverson Yes.}~ Casad Yes. Er Casad moved and seconded by ~ Oldham that the clerk be instructed to call for bids on a one ton Chasis Gear shift truck and Cab not to exceed $1000.00 bids to be received up to 10.00 A.M ~ednesday January 19th,1927 at which time they will be opened at a meeting of the Commissioners, All bids to be accompanied by a check of 5% of the amount of bid, The Commissioners reserving the right to reject any or all bids.
