Letter from Mr W H.Mosberger of Charleston requesting the appointment of Wharfinger at Charleston read and on motion by N_r Halverson and seconded by Mr Oldham that the application be placeg on file. Mr Erwin representing the Racific Telephone Co requested permission to put conduits in certain streetsand after due consideration by the Commission concluded they had no objection prpvided the Company put up sufficient bo ~nds to protect the City in ease o~ 'accidents before the completion, of the work and also the placing of the streets in proper condition at the ~ompletion of the work. The matter was laid over until the next meeting. The representative of the coal stoker Co being present addressed ~he meetiz regarding the installation of one of ~heir 'hea~ers and s~a~ed ~he cos~ would be $89~. I~.
