Regular meeting of the City Commissioners of the City of Bremerton,

Application from I~iorris Patrid~ of 605~ Park Avenue, for a license to
~gerate a taxicab in Bremerton, was read and after consideration by the Oommissioners,
the request was refused.
Application from the Veterans of ~oreign Wars for permission to use.the new
p'~ay field for show purposes during September of the fore part of October, was read
and laid over for one week.
City Engineer Casad, submitted e~,~imate No.1 for the improvement of Braadway
~,~venue under L.I.D No.llZ showing that the sum of $~090.60 was due the contractors
i,~essrs Holberg and No.man at ~his date. and recommended its payment.
I,,~r.Halverson moved and seconded by ],,[r. Oldham that the estimate on the Broad-
~-,~,~y improvement be accepted and f~led and a w~rr~ant in ~he amount of ~

issued in favor of ~essrs Holberg and Norman, ~otion carried ,as f.~llows ~?.r. Oldham

Police Chief, W.tt. Barowski. reported that ~e had received the resignation of
i~lrs 5ar~ Watson as police matron, and John C.Brahm as policeman,
I~ir. Oldham moved and seconded by ~[r.Halverson tha~ the resignation of both
employees be accepted, ~[otion carried as follows I~,ir. Oldham,yes; ~.Ir. Halverson,yes;

allowed by a majori,ty of the Oommission and the Clerk be instructed to issue
