question of street~mprovements in said district.
I~eeting called to. order at 7:30 P.I~. by Commissioner ~alverson

Commissioner Halverson explained that the meeting was called at the
request of several residents of the aforesaid district and a~ked for expression
on the anticipated improvements.
i~Ir.Ernest C.Ebert addressed the meeting and stated the necessity
of street grading ~nd sewerage and requested the City Engineer to explain
'the probable cost of same.
Mr. Oasad e~plained that under the present conditions the a~o.~nt of
imoney to be available for expenses within the scope of the State law would

could be d~ne for that ~nount until a survey could be made to base his
estimate on the cost of swwerage and grading, he also explained that the
ma,,~er o£ a trunk sewer which must run Northward, must be taken into consideratin~
by the County Commissioners for all that portion that would pas~: outside
the City Limits and through the County lands for proper disposal and that
regardless of cuts or fills in grading construction, the amount assessed
against each piece of abutting prope~$y would be equally distributed.
Several of the people present gave their views regarding what
i~provemen~s should be made and finalljit became the consensus of opinio~
that for the present the grading of certain streets snd sewerage were the
most es~emtial improvements and City Engineer ~asad said that he would
proceed to £urnis~ them with all the information re~arding cos~. E~c. after
