Regular meeting of the City Commissioners of the City of Bremerton,Wash,held at
10.00 O'Clock A.M. Wednesday June 8,19E?, with D~yor C E B,01dham presiding
and Commissioner Halverson present at roll call,Commissioner Casad being absent.

Ordinance No 859 was read for the secomd time,~ Halverson mo~ed
and seconded by ~r 01dham that Ordinance No 859 relating to the grading of
Broadway be approved and passed as read,Eotion carried as follows ~,{r Oldham
Yes,I~ Casad Yes.
A petition was received and read from the property owners abutting
the alley between Fifth Street and Sixth,from Pacific Avenue and Park Avenue
~o have same paved with concrete,
I~M Halverson moved and seconded by ~ Ol~ham that the petition
be referred ~o the City Engineer for investigation and checking up.

An Ordinance being submitted to control the fire conditions of clothes
drying establishments within the city limits such Ordinance to be known as
Ordinance No 860. [ir Halverson moved and seconded by I~ Oldham that the
Ordinance as read be considered as its first reading and be placed on file
in the office of the city clerk for one week for public inspection.

Application received and read from 5Lr Eanano L.Barrinnevo to operate
a Pool Hall at No 218 ~ront S~reet,applioation was accompanied by a check
for ~42.00.~,~ 01dham moved and seconded by ~i~ Halverson that the app~tcation
be referred to the ~hief of Police for investigation and report at ~he next

Mr 01dham moved and seconded by N.r Halverson that all bills
approved and allowed by a majority od the Commissioners the clerk be instructed

trucked ~o issue a call for bide'for the proposed improvement on Broadway
from Evelyn to Ralph Street in the legal form in the Official Newspaper
