Regula~ meeting of the City Commissioners of the City of Bremerton,Wash,
held at lO.00.O'Clock A.M.Wednesday June 1.1927,with M~ayor C E B.Oldham presiding
and Commissioners Halverson and Casad present at roll call.
~inutes of the previous meeting and adjourned meeting read and approved
as read by the following vote M~r 01dham yes,l~ Halverson Yes, Mr Casad Yes.
This being the date set for the hearing of protes~son the improvement of
Broadway from the N Margin of Evelyn Street to the center of Ralph Street.
The Clerk reported he had received no protests either oral or written.
The following property owners in the proposed Improvement District appeal
before the Commission Mr Jessup, M~r Olarke, ~ Jenergeux, and ~ Pinto,and made in-
quiries re~rding the grades to be established during the grading of the Street,
~ter ~ lengthy explaination by the City Engineer,Mayor Oldham, ~ Halver~
and City Attorney Stevenson mll were satisfied with the proposed ~ades.
This being the, date set for the opeDing.~ of b~ds' on furnishing a Chlorine
Apparatus for the City ~ater Works,the Clerk'~at only one bid had been received.

and assessmen~ roll for ~he improvemen~ of Broadway from the N line off Evelyn Stree
to ~he center of Ralph Street as submitted by City Engineer Oasad be approved and
placed on file in ~he office of ~he city clerk for one week for inspection.

Ordinance No 859 being submitted and was read by the clerk,said Ordinance
rela~ing ~o ~he improvement of Broadway from the N6ma~gin of Evel~ St,to the cen~e~
of Ralph Street, by clearing,~ubbing,~ading,adJusting water mains and connections
~here~o,and providing for drainage, together wiYh any and all o~her work necessary
~o finish the Job in a good and wor~an-like manner .
