Regular meeting of the Oity 0ommissioners of the 0ity of Bremerton, Wash-
ington,held at 10 $'Olook A.M. Wednesday. April 6,1927, with Mayor, C.E.B.Oldham
presiding, and Oommissioners~Halverson and Oasad, present at roll call.
Minutes of the previous meeting read and approved as read by the following
vote, Mr Oldbam, yes, Mr, Halverson. yes, Mr, 0asad, yes.

official publications, the Olerk reported as having received only one bid and
that fron the Breme~ton News SearChlight, Mr. Oldham, moved and seconded by
Mr. Halverson that the 01erk open and read bid, motion carries as follows

for ~he year starting &pproximately April l, 1927, I herewith submit
the following bid of the Bremerton Daily News Searchlight.

Mr. J.W.McDermad of 0harlsston,'representing the community, known as
Happy Valley Commm~ity, being'present, addressed the meeting at length relative
to the proper manner of levying and collecting from water users from the main
line supplying water to the Community.
Mr. Casad, moved and seconded by Mrs, 01dham, .that the Olerk be instructed
to write ~. McDermad as the President of the Happy Valley Community, a letter
authorizing him to collect a proportionate share of cost of water main fromwater
users and give receipt therefor, tapping charges to be paid direct to ~he
Bremerton Municipal Water Works Department, before tapping &s made.
Motion carried as follows, Mr. Oldham, yes, ~r.Halverson, yes, Mr. 0asad, yes.
~r. Halverson moved and seconded by Mr. Oldham, that all bills be approved
and allowed by a majority of the Commissioners and the Clerk be instructed to issu,

to issue a license to the Bremerton-Charleston Transportation Co. to operate a
transpora~ion rout~ on ~ifth Street from ~ourth to High Street, motion carreid

There being no further business to come before the meeting, ~,~r. Halverson
