Regular meeting of the City Co~mnissioners of the City of Bremerton,~ash
held at lO.00.o'clock A.M.i;ednesday L[arch 2,1927, with Mayor C E B.Oldham presidin
amd Co~nissioner Halverson present,Commissioner Casad being absent.
Minutes of the previous meeting read and approved as read .by the
following vote L~ 01dham Yes,L~ Halverson Yes.
Letter received from Miss Lillian Sheridan requesting the Co~uissioner
to blase mo~e street signs at the intersections of the streets in the city.
Eiss Sheridan addressed the meeting on the necessity of more street
~ signs and quoted instances where prospectivepprQperty buyers could not loca~
the places they desired to investigate.
The Commission stated they would take the matter under advisement and
would endeavor to comply with the request,
Letter received and read from dol C G.Andersen chairman of the Kitsa
County Chapter of the Red Cross requesting the Commission ~o appoint a re~
to represent the City on a commission he was endeavoring to form thc2 would act
quickly in case of emergency should disas~er ever strike the city.
After due consideration was give~ the matt. er by the Commission Mayor
Oldham appointed City Clerk ~ F.~cGowan to ac~ in the capacity of such committee.
D~ Halverson moved and seconded by ~ Oldham thcs all bills ap
and allowed by a majority of ~he ~ommiccioners the clerk be instructed to issue
warrants for same, 5lotion carried as follows I,~ Oldham Yes,i,~ Halverson Yes.
There being no further business to come before the meeting 1,Ir Oldham
moved and seconded by Mr Halverson that ~he meeting adjourn,l~otion carried as
