Application for a house movers license for a period of three months
was submitted by ~ T C.Waager,but as the Ordinance on the granting of such
license conflicted with his request the Commissioners refused to g~ant the
license.
Mir James W.Bryan addressed the meeting and read a letter in the
form of a request to the Commissioners to have an Ordinance in relation to the
appraising and purchace of the Puget Sound Power and Light Co's Plant voted
upon by the people at the special election on which the Gas Franchise Ordinance
would be voted upon January 15th,1929.
The Commissioners stated that owing to the fact that the people
who are asking for the Gas ~ranchise are defraying all the expenses of their
election they did not think they would stand to have any other run at their
expense and said that later on his Ordinance could be voted on by the people
at some other election. The matter went over for future consideration.
