presiding and Comm~ssiener Halver80n and Casad and City Attorney Stevensen
present at roll call.

Letter received ~nd read fr~m ~ Herbert C.Eoss requesting the
acceptance e£ his centraet f~r the Ornamental Street Lighting System.
,~ Casad stated he had written ~ ~oss regarding same.
~,~ Lerd appeared before the Co~nissi~ners and made a statement
regarding the parking ef cars .n Washingten Avenue at night~:witheut lights.
~Iayor Oldham s~ated he w*uld investigate the matter.
~,[r Otte Vell addressed the meeting regarding the amount e£ m~ney that
weuld be required £*r Park and,Playfield purposes and suggested a b~nd issue
e£ ~10,000.W~Uld be necessary £er the ensuing ~earand stated the Beard had an
spti~n until December 1928 on the ~oss preperty £er ~200.00.
A~ this time the Library Beard being present, assembled te discuss
the advisability o£ a bend issue for a Public Library.
The prespective Architect for the new building being presen~ submitted
several eleva$i~ns and plans'£er a Library and said an ~ppr~priate building
w~uld c~st between 45 and %50.000.00.
City Attorney S~evensen advised the Beard that befere any offlcial
action ceuld be taken the architect eheuld submit finished plans and specifieatl$~$
te be placed en file in the City Clerk's Office.,

public celebra~ien weuld be held te hener the new Ornamental Lighying System and in
addi~ien te ~he public speaking ~tc a dance weuld be held en Pacific Avenue between
4th and ~h Streets frem 80'Gleck te 11 P.M.
