Regular meeting of the City 0ommissioners of the Oity of Bremerton.Wash,
held at l0 O'Clock A.M.Wednesday Joly 25th.1928.with Nayor O E B.Oldham presidin and
CommissionersHalverson and ~ity Attorney Stevenson present at roll call.
Minutes of the previous meeting read and approved as read by the f Llowing
vote ~ 01dham ~es.I~r Halverson Yes.
Mm Stiner and a lady from Seattle addreased the meeting regardin~ the
possibilities of the City using the water f~om the Lillawaup Falls which is approximately
45 or 50 miles from Bremerton. The 0ommissioners stated that their present wal~r
supply would run for many year,nd with increaced population and stated that the ~iping
o£ water from the ~alls to Bremerton would be too expensive to give the matter an
considerationand requested ~M Stiner to give some definite information of the cos of
delivery of water to ~he ~ity should he put in the supply pipes.
He stated he could not give any idea a~ present but said he would maes
investigation regarding the cost of work and submit a report ~later on and the matter
went over for the present.
Letter from the City Treasurer read requesting ~he Oommissioners to
set a price on certain property now held by the City,
I~,M Halverson moved and seconded by DM Oldham that the Mayor select
three real estate menas appraisers on the property and report th~ir'~n~ings at
later period. Motion carried as follows ~ 01dham Yes ,N~ Halverson Yes,Nr Oasa ~es.
Ordinance for the improvement og High Avenue and adjoining Streets as
continued over t~ the next meeting ~luly 27,1928.
~r Halverson moved and seconded by ~ Oldham that all bills approve and
allowed by a majority of the Commissioners the Clerk be instructed to issue warrs n~s

roll call.
Minutes of the previous meeting of July E5 read ~nd approved as read
by the following vote ~ Oldham ~es,D~ Halverson Yes,~,~ Casad ~es.
~ Hartman of the firm of Hartman and Hartman Co.being present addressed
~he meeting a~ length regarding the change of entrance to the proposed bridge
~cross the Port ~ashington Narrows and suggested an Ordinance be prepared covering
;he change,and also provisions for voting on change at the coming Primary Election,
stating that the Bridge Company would pay all ~he expenses in connection with
publications otc with ~he proposed change.
Proposed change of entrance to be Lots 12 and ~3, Coder's Addition
to Bremerton,
Ordinance No 879,'in relation ~o change of entrance of Bridge was read
for the first time,~ Oldham moved and seconded by DM H~lverson ~ha~ the Ordinance
as read be considered as i~s firs~ reading and be placed of file in the City
Clerk's Office for public inspection. Motion carried as follows,

Letter from ~.[r Hubert A.Blogg of Seattle regarding sewers in ~he locality
of proposed Apartment House, The matter was referred to City F.ugineer Casad.
