~es, Petition from property owners on High Avenue read on the changing
of width of streets and signed by 16 property owners.
City Attorney Stevenson gave his opinion on the course that should be
~ursued in such transactions according to law,tha~ a~ least three fon~hs~ft~he
)roper~y owners,~Mives and Husbands and Mortgagees together with publications of
lotices and notices posted in public places before legal action would be taken
~nd iQ was mutually agreed ~hat a meeting of such proper~y owners should be held
~o ascertain their views on the mat~er.
I~r 01dham moved and seconded by ~M Halverson tha~ a meeting of the
,roper~y owners interested in ~he foregoin~ proposed changes would be held in the
iCouncil Chamber a~ 7 O'Clock P.M; Tuesday evening July 10,1928,to hear from all

M Casad Xes. Letter from Mr Jens Jacobsen accompanied by a check for $150.00
requesting a license for operating his Busses, ~ 01dham moved and seconded by

County, requesting information from the City Commissioners regarding ~he purohace
of same, There being no definite information in the letter regarding price,
Power of Falls otc the matter was referred to the City Engineer to ascertain
further particulars in the case.
The Jl~ne~ Ordinance was taken up and on motion by ~ Halverson and
seconded by ~Lr Oldham tha~ the Ordinance be laid over for one week for revision

Ordinance for the Improvement of High Avenue was continued over for

City Engineer Cmsmd reported that he had installed a 18
meter for the benefit of the Navy Yard,Puget Sound.
