Letter.from the City A~orney read and also opinion o~ rheostats Attorney
General on the Bonds of R M~Ward's defalcations read and on the advice of Attorney
Stevenson the Commissioners were advised to ~ccept the proposition offered by
the American Surety Company in amount for settlement of claims of $&.809.69.
I,.~ Oldham moved and seconded b~ N~ Oasad that the City Commissioners accep~t
the compromise with the Bonding Co for $ 4.809.69.on the bonding of R M.Ward on
the advice of the City Attorney and the At~orne2'General and the Mayor and Clerk
be authorized to sign the necessary release in connection with the case.
Motion carried as follows M~ 01dham Xes, Mr Casad Xes.
Letter from the k~aryland Casualty Co read regarding the acceptance of
Contract work in L.I.D.No llS.
~ Oldham moved and seconded by Mr Casad that the Contract work on L.I.D
No ll5 be accepted and the Clerk be instructed to notify the Bonding Co of such
action. Motion carried as follows Mr Oldham Yes.Mr Casad ~es

Plumbing Ordinance read and filed.
Ordinance on Jitney regulations read and referred to the City Attorney
for checking up.
Plumbing Ordinance No 8?6 was read for ~he second time and on motion by.
~,M 01dham and seconded by Mr Casad that the Plumbing Ordinance as read be
Passed. Motion carried as follows Mr Oldham Yes,Mr Casad Yes.
LM Oldham moved and seconded by Mr Casad That all bills approved and
allowed by a majority of the Commissioners the Clerk be instructed to issue
warrants for sam~, Motion carried as follows Mr Oldham ~es,2~r Casad Yes.
