This being the date set for the opening of bids for the Garage Truck
clerk reported as having received one bid from ~he S~ebick AUtO Sales Co.

be accepted and the City Engineer have ~he privelige of selecting the Truck he

~r Fred W.~oore being present addressed the meeting regarding water
from ~he s~reets running in~o basements of homes in the vicinity of Chester Ave,
and Seventh Street. Mm Casad stated %ha~ in his opinion sidewalks should be
constructed so as to properly regulate and care for overflow water.
Letter received from the City Treasurer announcing the purchace of
Bond No 168 of Charleston.~ash,L.I.Distrie~ No 88 as an investment for the M~rke~
Sinking Fund,Bond purohaced a~ par for $600.00,and also for~y improvemen~ and
Bettermen~ Bonds as an investment for Water Shed purohace and p~id for said Bonds
~lus accrued interest in the sum of ~?2.6?.total amount $~07E.67. said Bonds

Plumbing Ordinance submitted by ~,~ Jack Basse t~ representing the local
P~umber's Union No 6J1 of Bremerton. was received and'referred ~o the Commissioner~~
and Building Inspector.
Representatives from the property owners of ~he 2&00 acres of land
~djoining the ~unicipal ~Vater Plant being present addressed the meeting and said Shay thought
~ small reduction On ~he $?6.000.00 offered could be made but said that the result ~f the
~ity Appraisal was too low ~or consideration,they were informed by the Commissioner that
~nded the circumstance the only ~lterna~ive remained was condemnation proceedings.
Letter read from the Maryland Gasualty Go regarding and accepting an
~greement reached between Mr Ray Wood Contractor for L.I.Distriot No llS,the City

as per agreement between ~r Ray Wood,the ~i~y Engineer and the Nar~land Casualty Bending

City A~torney Stevenson suggested the purchace of a set of Remington ode
o~ l~ws also the present Session laws stating where they could be purohaced at a v ry
liberal cos~ to ~he City. The ma~er was referred to Commissioner Halverson.
~Lr Casad s~ated ~hat he was preparing a map to be used in the re-numbs: lng
of Blocks in ~he City in connection with the re.m~ang~m~nt of the Sanborn Rap ~o.~ lso
that ~he Reservoir had been cleaned last week and had arranged for a continued
of wa~er in ~he reservoir.
