Regular meeting of the City Commissioners of the City of Bremerton,~ash,
held aS l00'01ock A.~.Jednesday March 21,1928,with L~yor C E B.01dham presiding
and Commissioners halverson and Oaead and City Attorney Stevenson present
a~ roll call.
Winutes of the previous meeting read and approved as read by
the followin~ vote,Er 01~ham Yes,~ Halverson ~es,~ Casad ~es.
Request of ~r Jena Jacobson for the previlege of taking over the
Jitney route held by D~ Nu~terand asked for a license to operate over the
route.
~J_r Halverson moved and seconded by ~Lr Oldham that a new license would
be issued to DY Jacobson when he surrendered the lieense now held by ~ Nutter.
Motion carried as follows ~ Oldham ~es,~,~ Halver~on Yes,~ Casad Yes.
LM L~rion Garland being present addressed the meeting and suggested the
Commissioners would take up the matter of assessments with the City Attorney
of Tacoma with a view of having the Court's decision on L.I.Distriots assessment~
reversed, The mat~er was referred to the City Attorney to take up the
matter with ~he City Attorney of Tacoma.
Mr Casad submitted the ~e2iminary Plans,estimate of cost,assessment
roll and maps showing the District to be improved and the amount of the
assessed valuation of the real proper~y within the district for the installation
of an ornamental Street Lighting System at a total cost of $22.0~2.25.
~Lr Halverson moved and seconded by ~M Oldham that the meeting
