Regular meeting of the City Commissioners of the City of Bremert~n,

and Commissioners Halverscn an~ Casad and City Attorney Stevenson present at rol~ call.
Minutes of the previous meeting mnd adjourned meeting of ~rch
read and approved as read by the following vote.l~r 01dham Yes,Mr Halverscn Yes,M~ Gasad Yes.
M.r Bennett representing the holders of the 2000 acres cf land adjoining
the I~unicipal Water ~or~s being present addressed the meeting regarding the sale ~f the
land to the City and stated he had nc power or authority to reduce the selling price of
Q~?5,000.00, He stated that sa~e for several lots were contemplated but would much
prefer to sell the whole trac~ to the City and if sale cannot be made then the parceling
out o£ tracts must be made and invited condemnation proceedings if it were necessary.
2M Casad moved and seconded by ~[r Oldham tha~ an Appr~ssr be selected by
~he Commissioners to appraise the value of the land and repor~ back to the Commission the
resul~ of his findings, Motion carried as follows Mr Oldham Yes,D~ Halverson Yes,Ma' Casad
Yes. This being the date set for the hearing of pro~es~s on Resolution No §?,no
protests being received, Mr Casad msved and seconded by RM Halverson that the he~ring be
continued un~il the next regular meeting of the Commissioners.

Communication received from City Engineer Oasad regarding replies received back on
the improvement of 6th,~thand 8~h Streets in Reeses Addition and:f~umd~hat~Block ~etween
High Avenue and Pennsylvania Avenue on 8th S~ree~ should'receive consideration ac~ordingly
and recommended ~hat action on the Resolution be delayed until the field work and estimate
had been completed. Er Oldham moved and seconded by ~ Halverson that the r~commendati¢
of the City Engineer be adopted. Motion carried as follows ~,~ 0~dham Ye, s,M~r-Halverson

Petition received from 20 property owners to establish an alley in the Block
between Elizabeth Street and ~arren Avenue said Block extending from Ralph Street to Nelson
Street. The matter was referred to the City Engineer.
~ Halverson moved and seconded by ~M Oldham that all bills approved an allowed
by a majority of the Commissioners the clerk be instructed ~o issue warrants for amc,
Motion carried as follows Mr Oldham Yes,Mr Halverson Yes,Mr 0asad Xes.
Mr Halverson moved and seconded by Mr Casad that in future all bills will be paid'on
the iS~h and last da~ of each month.
