Oldham presiding and Commissioners Halverson and Casad and City Attorney Stevenson present at roll call. Minutes of the previous meeting and adjourned meeting of February 3rd,1928 read and approved as read by the following vote,Mr Oldham Yes. LM Halverson Yes,Mr Casad ~es. Application from IAr James H.Gibson requesting a change in his Jitney route from 5th to 6th Street to enter Pacific Avenue on his return trip owing to the delays from funerals at the Lewis undertaking Chapel. Request granted. Letter from ~M Martin L[oGovern of Nanette requesting a water supply to his lots in Jaoobeo subdivision of ~cTigue Garden Tracts. After considerable attention was given the matter by the Commissioners LM Oldham moved and seconded by Mr Halverson that the City Engineer consult with City Attorney Stevenson and endeavor to adjust the matter oX water supply L[otion carried as follows ~&r 01dham Yes,~Lr Halverson ~es,~ir Casad Yes. Damage claims received from l~r Ray Greenwood on the death of Peter Shannon by a City Police Automobile was read and on motion by Mr 01dham and seconded by l~r Halverson that the claim be referred to the City Attorney and the City Commissioners as a committee of the whole for investigation and report at a future meeting, Motion carried as follows Mr Oldham Yes,~ Halverson Yes. ~ Casad ~e~, A letter received from Aberdeen and signed by ~,~ L G,~cOlellan Chairman Aberdeen Council,Aberdeen,Wash, requesting the presence of the Oity Commissioners,City ~reasurer and City Attorney to a meeting in 01ympia,~ash, February ~0-£1.19£8,at which time and place City 0fficers,.~from Towns and Cities of the State would be' present to discuss the fesability of uniform laws to govern L.I.Districts. ~ 01dham moved and seconded by ~.Ar Halverson that the matter be referred to the City Commissioners for future action. Resolution No 5~ on the proposed Street Lighting was read and on motion by L~ Oldham and seconded by ~ Halverson that the resolution as read be passsed and the clerk be instructed to have same published according to law,at least two succesive issues and thereafter on the 14th day of }~[arch 19£8 at 10,0'Olock A.E. of said day protests will be heard against said improvement.
