Statutory meeting of the City Commission of the City of Bremerton, Washingto2
for final hearing on proposed budget for 1930, held on 1.ionday, October 7, 1929,
at 10:00 o'clock A. ~,[. I~yor Oldham presiding, Commissioners ttalverson and Casad
being present at roll call.
Clerk read proposed ordinance, being an ordinance fi:~:ing and adopting the
financi~l budge~ for the several departments of ~he city governmen~ of the
City of Bremerton for the year 1950, and appropriating the several sums and ~o~al
~ounts as set forth to each of said departments as the tolal appropriation
for said year.
I~r. Harader, Secretary of the Chamber of Co~erce stated ~ha~ a co~i~tee
of the Chamber had carefully examined ~he budget and he was glad to repor~ ~ha~
his organization "had no protests nor suggestions for change in ~he budgei as
read"; he also stated that ~he policy of the Chamber was ~o advance the
interests off the ~axpayers and ~o be a benefit to ~he residents of the city;
alamo, that a co~i~ee was to meet that evening ~o ~ake up the question of
water rates, l,h~. Casad promised to mee~ with ~he Co~i~tee.

Clerk read proposed ordinance being an ordinance levying special and
general municipal tax against all the taxable property within ~he City of Bremer-
ton for the year 19ZO.
