Regular meeting of the City Commission of the City of Bremerton, ~ashington

held at ten o'clock A.M. January 23,1929 with ~ayor 01dham,presiding and Comm-
issioners Halverson and Casad and City Attorney Stevenson,present at roll call.

Clerk reported this as date set for opening bids fo~ improvements to the
First Street wharf and stated that two bids had been received;
Motion by }&r. Halverson and Hr. Casad to open bids, carried,all members voting
Yes. Bids were accordingly opened and found to be from Berg Brothers, Bremert(
and ~,~anson and Son, Seattle.

Clerk read letter from International Harvester Company enclosing certified the,
Motion by LM. Casad and DM. Halverson to accept the bid of the Stebick Eotor
Sales Company for a White Truck Street Flusher,equipped as per specifications for
~he sum of ~7960.00, carried as follows: I,M. Oldham, Yes. ~. Halverson, Yes.

~otion by ~M. Casad and LM. 01dham to reject all bids for garbage truck, carri
as follows: Mr.01dham, Yes. b~. Halverson, Yes. Er. Casad, Yes.
L[otlon by LM. Oldham and Halverson that bids on car for Police Department be
laid over until next wednesday (Jan.~0,1929~ carried, as follows:

Motion by 1.~M. Halverson and DM. Casad, That clerk return certified checks
submitted by bidders for Garbage Department Truck, and to unsucceseful bidders
on street flusher, carried, all members voting,Yes.
