Regular meeting of City Commission held on Wednesday August 22, 1925 at 10.00
o,clock am.m. with Mayor McCall in the Chair and Commissioners Burlington and
Harrison present at roll call.
Minutes of pmevious meeting read and approged as read.
Communication read from T. H. H~lstad making complaint that a party by the
name of Tracy was occupying public street in Manette. Commissioner Harrison report-
ed that he had investigated this matter and found that Tracy had deed for this
property and City Attorney was instructed to write Mr. Hi~stad and notify him that
if he knew of ansr way that the city could dispossess this man that the city would
proceed to do so.
Communication read from W. H. Barowski with referenc~ to salaries in Police
Department, and referred to the ~ayor.
Motion by Mr. Harrison, seconded by Er. McCall that party occupying city prop-
erty in East Bremerton, co~,mencing on the first day of August be required to pay
$25.00 per year payable semi-annually in advance f.or the occupancy of ground and
City Clerk instructed to send notice to that effect; Carried unanimously on roll call
City Attorney reported that judgment had been entered in the case of W. H.
Hawkes vs. City of Bremerton in L.I.D. #99.
There being no further business to co~e before the Com;~ission the meeting was
duly adjourned.
