Halverson and Gasad present ay roll call.
Minutes of previous meeting read an~_.~pproved asa!read.
December ~O,192~being the date set for the hearing of protests
on assessment~roll for L.I.Dlstrict ~o lOS,She 0ommissioners considered
same,but as there were no protests presented either oral or written,
the Commissioners thereby approved assessment roll and instructed the
Clerk read the 0rdnanos approving same.
Ordnance No 830 approTing assessment roll for L.I.Distriet No 108
being read by the Clerk it was moved by ~r 0asad,seoon~ed by,Mr Halverson
that Ordnance No 8~0 approving assessment roll for L.I.Distriot No 108
be passed as read, motion carried as follows,Mr 01dham Yes, Mr Halvereon,
Yes,I~ Casad Yes, Ordnance passed unanimously.
A request from Mr A G.Snith the present proprietor of Restaurant
at ~1o 219 Sacific Avenue,that the license granted to R,Morrisonb~e
changed to his name,Commission decided that he apply for a new Iieense~
Mr Halverson moved seconded by Nr Casad that the Monthly Statements
from the North Pacific Public Service Co as required by cause No ~960
may be discontinued,motion carried as follows,~ Oldham Yes,Mr Halverson
Yes,~ Cased Yes.
City Attorney Stevenson stated that the Supreme 0curt had reversed
the Judgement in Burke versus Bremerton,with instructions to dismiss.
~ Also that Burke had thirty days in which to file petition for
a~hearing.
~ Halverson moved,~ecOnded b~ Mr Casad that all bills approved and
allowed by a majority of the Commission,the Clerk be instructed to iseeus
warrants for same, motion carried as as follows,Mr Oldham Yes,~ Halveerson
Yes,~ Cased Yes.
~ Oldham moved seconded by ~ Cased that Mr Halverson be instructed
to purchace supplies and prepare an installing index for Ordnances and
minutes of meetings,and systematizing clerical work in the Clerk's Office.
