Regular meeting of City Co~mnission held on Wednesday,
September 23, 1925, at 10:00 o'clock A. M. with Mayor White in
the chair and Commissioners Halverson and Casad present at roll call.
Minutes of previohs meetin~ read andJ.approved as read.
Co~mmunicatiQn received from F. J. Ross and S. A. Hall
making application for license to operate pool and card tables
in East Bremerton. Notion by Mr. Halverson, seconded by Mr. White,
that license be granted;i YYY. //
City Clerk reported that ~urety bond of R. L. Ro~land'
& Company for L.I.D,~10? had ~een filed and approved by 'the City
Attorney as to form.' Notion by. Mr. Casad, seconded by Mr. White,
that surety bond of R'.L~Rowland & Co., for L.I.D.~107 in the stm~
of $40,644.50, .be aoq~pted by the City;YYY.
City Clerk reported that this was date fixed for hear-
lng on the proposed improvement of east half of High Street by
paving, and that no pr~tests had been received.
City Engineer'f'iled plans and specifications ~nd' City
Attorney filed ordinance orea~ing local improvement district
for the paving of High Street.
Motion by Mr. Halverson, s~conded by Mr. White, tlmt
hearing on the proposed i~provement of High Street be continued
u~¥til the next re2~ular meeting~ and the ordinance placed on lille
for public inspection; YYY.
Statutory deed received from the Bremerton Trust &
Savings Bank for an alley between Ev~$yn and Ralph Street west
of Broadway. Motion by Mr, Halverson, seconded by l~r. Casad,
that deed from the B~emerton Trust & Savings Bank for alley be
accepted by the City,~-YYy.
Motion by Mr." Halverson, seconded by Mr. Casad', that ~'
City Clerk be instructed and authorized to issue a warrant on
L.I.D.~106 in the ~um of $1000.00 for fixed estimate in said
district; YYY.
Motion by l~r. Halverson, seconded by Mr. White, that all
bills approved by a majority of the Commission be alto~ved and
warrants drawn for. same; YYY,
