Minutes of the previous meeting read' and ,approved as readily the following

Letter from Hon. Homer Jones Mayor of Charleston,Wash,inviting his Honor
~[ayor C E B.01dham and the Gi~y Commissioners of Bremerton,Wash,'to be present
atl a meeting of the City Council .of Charleston ,Thursday evening November 11,,
1926,the purpose of the meeting,being~to-,,have a general discussion of citizens
on the Electric Light ~renchise submitted by M~r James W.Bryan.
The clerkwas~req~ested,to~plaoe the letter on file.
Letter received and read f~om, Mias,~Elia,.L.McHenry of East Bremerton,
requesting permission ~o put card board arrow signs on the telephone or telegraph
poles to direct strangers to a meeting of the Christian ghdsa~o~nOBn~m~n~ton
to be held in the Presbyterian church in Bremerton.~riday,Sa~urday and Sunday.
November 12,1J,and lA, Commissioners, sta~ted they had no objection as far as
their Jurisdiction was c,oncerned,and ~he letter .was ordered filed by the clerk.
The question of protests against the improvements of McKinzie Avenue
was taken upand as there were no pro~ests~received either oral or writte~
Ordnance No 88~ was submitted and read approving the assessment roll for Local
Improvement District No llE,and after bei~g~read Mr Halverson moved and
seconded by ~ Casad that Ordnance,No SBA approving ~he assessment roll for
L.I D.No 112 be approved and passed as read,~

instructed to have no,ice published in the~offleial newspaper calling for bids
for furnishing and installing a ~ire 'Alarm'system according to plans and
specifications on file in the office-of the city clerk,bids to be
up to 10.00 o'clock Wednesday NoVember E4,19E6 and opened at the regular
meeting of that daCe,the Commissioners'reserving. the right to reject any or
all bids. ,, ,,.,

approved and allowed by ~ majority of the Commissioners the clerk be instructed
