Mr Marion Garland:~beinglDresen~submit~ed an Ordnance known as Ordnance
No 8~3 relating ~o the~an.~ing,:O~ pr~illege to.Mr L L.Lent to lay pipes and condui'
through-certain Streets and. Alleys ~in the Gity of Bremerton.for the purpose of
transmitting heat and~s~esm ~o ~he~ei~izens of Bremerton.

contrac~ wl~h the oi~y,sai~'iwatsrmain being laid at back of Charleston. on the
Oyster Bay road . He reqUeS~e~i ~ decision from the Co. mission regarding the
validity of said contract';om~i~'the~Oommission would s~and for it in the form it
was drawn up at the time ,'.the ?p~Pe. was laid.
After consi~era~ie deliberation by the Commission it was decided that
in ~heir opinion a new,'.eontraet: ~hould he ~drawn up that would meet with the approval
of ~he ai~y.Commission and :tha~people who'are interested in the water supply from
said wa~er pipe and the'm afterlife'S laid over for future action.
This being ~he date'.set for the hearing of protests on the improvements
in L.I.Dlstrict .go 112 but'to,this'date n~ protests either oral or written had been
received and it was decided that the hearing would be continued further.
