Clerk read minutes of regular meeting of July 16,19J0 and on motion of Hr. Oldham
and i~.Halverson minutes were approved as read.
H,H.Perrin and H..Brown represent'ing~cOmmittees having charge of the coming Labor
d~y celebration appeared before~ ~he commission and asked permission for holding a
street carnival on Pacific Avenue nOrtH of Sixth stree~meommencing August £9,19~0,
~hose gentlemen assured the Oommission ~hat the~ affair would be conducted in a clean
and orderly manner and Would no~ be open on Sunday.

completed his contract in a satisfactory manner,and recommended that the Job be
~'~oi~ted, I[r ~asad also submitted final estimate showing amount duo'contractor to
be ,i~80.~0 less 1~% amount due at this da~e $~92.&g.
