Regular meeting of the City Commission of the City of Bremerton,Washington,

Clerk read minutes of regular meetings of July E,19ZO; ~otion by Nr. Oldham and

Clerk reported that Austin Nicholson contractor oni~he Wyooff Avenue sawyer had si zed
the contract and submitted his bond,wish was approved by City Attorney as to f~rm;

~,Ir. Cased reported that L~. Nicholson had all his materials on the ground and
g with the work in a satisfactory manner.
Clerk read letter from City Health Officer st~ing that certain property on Warren
~venue was insanitary and liable to become a menace to publlo health; letter referred
to City Attorney.
Clerk read Engineer's final estimate on L.I,D.~ll8 showing the net cost ~o the
District to be .~E,167.E4 wi~h private work to abutting proper~y amounting to
making total cost of %he improvemen~ ~,660.Z5.
Motion by Mr. Halverson and l~r. Oldbam to approve final estimate.carried as follows

Clerk read resolution se~ing the da~e of hearing on assessment roll of L.I.D ~ll8
~nd instructing the City Clerk ~o notify property owners of said hearing.

Clork read petition from property owners asking th~% the blind alley in Block
of Coder's addition be vacated; he ~lso read ~esolution set~ing wednesday August~$th
19~0 at ten o'clock k.M. ~s time of hearing objections,if any, on said vacation.

the intention of the Commission to declare his deposit of ~lO00.00 on gas franchise
forfeited, at the next regular meeting, carried as follows: Mr. Oldham, yes.

i,Ir. casad reported that the water supply pi~e on First S%ree~ between Montgomery
and l~uval Avenue was giving considerable trouble and reco~mmended that the 1£ inch pipe~
~hich were being replaced with s~eel pipes bs~ihS~lled on First stree~ %o replace thi~
eight inch line, it was the concensus of opinion tha~ ~his should be done and ~he
w~s referred back to ~.Casad with power to act.
