Regular meeting of the City Co~nission of the City of Bremerton,Washington,
held on wednesday March 5, 1930 at ten o'clock A.M. Mayor 01dham, presiding,
Commissioner Halverson, Commissioner Casad and City Attorney GQrman, being present
at roll call.
Clerk read minutes of regular meeting held ~ebruary 26,19~0;

Clerk read letters from City Engineer stating that the Engineer for'the Brem-
erton Bridge Company had requested that grades be established at the eastern end
of the bridge and grade of ~idewalk at the western end be changed.

a whole for investigation, carried as follows: ~. Oldham, Yes. ~. Halverson, Yes

~. Casad reported on the unemployment situation and Sta~ed that his department
had employed,in addition ~o the regular employees, 126 men and as these men had
dependents to the nUmber of 325 persons the City had relieved at least 450 persons,
since new year, Mr Casad also reported ~hat he had other work to do on Anderson
Creek branch of the water works and recommended that the work be done under the
management of his department by day labor and in this way a great deal more could
be accomplished and for less expense.

to proceed with the repair work at the Anderson Creek dam by day labor, carried as
