Clerk read minutes of regular meeting of December 24,1929,

Clerk read a resolution declaring the City to be owner of lots 20,21~.2 and 2~
Block 21 original plat of the ']ity of Charleston and authorizing &lid directing the
~.[ayor and Clerk to sell same and issue a quit claim deed to the Associated Oil Cc.,
~ cor.ooration, for ~he consideration of $13~1.04.
Hotion by ~ir. Halvereon and ~fr, Casad to pass resolution as read, carried as
follows: ~tr. 01dham, Yes. Hr. Halverson, Yes. ~,~r. Casad, Yes.
.',t this time the commission took a recess so ~,Ir. Casad might secure some data
from a Portland supply company in connection with the improvements to the water
sui~21y system.
After reconvening the Clerk reported that ~,Lr. James H. Coyne to whom the con-
tract for the proposed improvements to the water supply system was awarded, had
filed his bond in the sum of ~43,851.11 and that same had been approved by the
City ~'~ttoeney as to form.
Hotton by I'd,Ir. Oldham and ~ir. Hmlverson to accep~ bond, carried as follows:
