December 2, 1931.
Regular meeting of the City Commission of the City of Bremerton,Washingtcn,
held on wednesday December 2,1931 at ten o'clock A.M,, ~yor McGillivray,prestding,
Commissioner Halverson, Commissioner Casad and City Attorney Gorman being present
at roll call.
Clerk read minutes of regular meeting held on Nov.28,1931 and on motion of ~
Casad and ~r EcGillivray minutes were approved as read. all members voting ~es.
Clerk read petition from L.A.Bender and 19 others requesting that Winfield Ave.,
and D~rlowe Avenue be improved by Clearing.Grading,Graveling, the construction of
curbs and gutters and the construction of concrete sidewalks on each side threof,
together with such other work as may be necessary to complete the Job.
Motion by ~ Halverson and ~r ~[cGillivray to refer to the City En~ineer, carried
as follows: ~ McGillivray, Yes. ~M.Halverson, Yes. Mr.0asad, Yes.
Clerk reported this as date set for hearing protests,if any,on assessment roll
of L.I.D.~D24 and read three protests, (l~ from 0arrie Cain, (2~ from Samuel W.Beach,
[3) from Wm.A,Hook; 01erk also read letter f~om J.P.jacobson and L.E.Hunton, request-
ing that some assessments made in the name of ~M Jacobeon be changed to Mr. Hunton,now
the owner of the property; ~M. J. H. L~rtin stated that he had paid a sub-contractor
for extra work and now finds that the item is also charged on the roll, the sub-eontr~
ctor was present and promised to return the amount in question to ~M.I~artin.

~[otion by DM.~gGillivray and Mr Halverson to instruct the ~ngineer to adjust the
Jacobson and Hunton assessments on assessment roll, carried as follows: Mr McGillivray

Clerk read Ordinance ~98V approving and adopting the assessment roll for ~.I.D,
Fl24 under 0z'dinance ~94~ providing for the improvement of East Eleveth Street from
the center line of Winfield Avenue to the center line of Trenton Avenue; Wynard Avenue
from the center line of Trenton Avenue,North to the City limits;, Perry Avenue from the
north margin of Eleventh Street,North to East Thirteenth Street and East Thirteenth
from the East margin of Perry Avenue to the center of Ironsides Avenue: levying and
~sse~msing the cost thereof against the parcels and lots of land within the boundary of
said streets as shown on said assessment roll,and providing for the collection there~
and fixing date for the issuance of bonds in payment thereof.

Naval; and ~o give permission for inlet to gasoline tank to be in new sidewalk,
