Regular meeting of the City Oommission of the 0ity of Bremerton,Washington,
held on wednesday September 2,1931 at ten o'clock A.M. Mayor McGillivray,presiding,
Commissioner Halverson, Commissioner ~asad and 0ity Attorney Gorman being present

Casad and ~M Halverson same were approvzd as read, all members voting yes.
Clerk read two petitions from property owners asking that Perry Avenue between
Ninth and Eleventh Street and Hapward Avenue between Ninth and Thirteenth Streets
be improved.
Motion by Mr Halverson and Mr MoGillivray to refer to City ~n~ineer carried as

Letter read from Oommissioner CaSad calling attention ~o the condition Of the
water mains in ~he down town section of the Ci~Y,estimating the wastage of water
at ~§,000 galluns daily, and ~he cost of replacement at $1~,000.00 .

Clerk read ordinance prohibiting Street carnivals showing in the City of Bremerton
and on motion of Mr McGlllivray and Mr Casad proposed ,ordinance w~s laid over for two

Clerk read a proposed ordinance regulating the sale of milk in the City of Bremer-
ton and on motion of Mr Halverson and Er ~oGtllivray sams was laid over for one week,
Clerk read resolution de~laring the inten~ion of the City Commissioners to order
the improvement of ~ifth Street west of Naval Avenue for approximately 50!.Z5 feet
by clearing, grubbing,graCing,the construction of concrete walks 4 feet in width on
each side thereof,and the oonstruo~ion of a s~orm and sanitary sewer and providing
for an outlet for said sewer, together wi~ all other work necessary to make such
improvement a aomple~e Job.
